OWNERS COMMUNITIES REHABILITATION AND ENERGY EFFICIENCY

Resolution of September 25, 2013, the Ministry of ergy, by which publishes the one of June 25, 2013, the Board of Directors of the Institute for Diversification and Saving ergy (IDEA) which establishes regulatory bases and summons the aid program for energy rehabilitation of existing buildings in the residential sector (housing and hotel use) has been published in the Official Gazette No. 235 of October 1, 2013.

The objective of the aid program is to encourage and promote the realization of comprehensive measures to encourage energy conservation, improved energy efficiency and use of renewable energy in existing buildings in the residential sector (owners).

The aid contained in this resolution are aimed, on the one hand, to the realization of comprehensive rehabilitation works in existing buildings (owners and hotel sector) in the residential sector, aimed at improving energy efficiency through interventions in the housing and thermal facilities, and, moreover, to the replacement of conventional energy from biomass or geothermal energy. They are four, therefore, the fields of application of the aid:

Improving energy efficiency of the thermal envelope: Measures aimed at reducing energy demand for heating and cooling the building by thermal rehabilitation activities on the envelope of the community.

Improving the energy efficiency of heating and lighting: includes performances such as the reform of boiler rooms with replacement of equipment of heat production for heating and hot water and cold for other high energy efficiency, substitution conventional energy by solar energy.

Replacing conventional energy biomass heating systems for heating, cooling and domestic hot water.

Replacing conventional geothermal energy in heating systems for heating, cooling and domestic hot water energy. The facilities should incorporate PRETEL telemonitoring system, connected to IDEA became part of the Harmonized System tracking PRETEL thermal renewable energy installations.

The aid for energy rehabilitation of buildings can be ordered from the October 2, 2013 until October 30, 2015 and will award under a simple competition, granting aid to all the rehabilitation works that meet all requirements order of presentation and to exhaust the available budget or reach the end date of the call.
