Allergies workplaces
So, you might ask, why the silly title?Well, you do not agree that the typical family has their carpets professionally cleaned once or twice a year? And, if you entertain a lot, your carpets professionally cleaned can be three or four times a year. Again, do not agree that our rugs are also vacuumed once every week or two? This is great because the carpets, especially the bedroom, and collect allergens may be home to as many as 50,000 allergen producing dust mites.
How often have mattresses and pillows, the issues that have intimate contact with eight hours a day, cleaned professionally? Never, not even for ourselves clean, weekly or every two weeks! Bed linens yes .
But do we sleep in our vacuum cleaner and clean the carpets? No, at least not normally. We are healthy people who sleep in our beds . . . our beds, that have never been cleaned professionally, nor have the pillows which lay our heads, never cleaned professionally. So obviously it would be more logical and even healthy, sleep in our vacuum cleaner and clean the carpets!
Our mattresses and pillows allergies allergies port on average 2000000 dust mites and sometimes as many as dust mites 10000000! Dust mites produce a digestive enzyme that breaks so powerful and kills living tissue. This digestive enzyme called guanine excreted as a powerful and very harmful allergen. Dust mites excrete 20 to 30 faecal pellets each day. Doing the math, that’s the equivalent of 40 to 60 million pellets fecal build up in our mattress EVERY DAY! The fecal pellets are about 15 microns in size, but as they dry become dust and broken into even finer particles. These particles are easily inhaled by you when fluffing a pillow or tossing and turning at night, on average, reduced from 50 to 60 times a night.
Dust mites are responsible for 80 to 90 Allergens are compounds in house dust. Although dust mites and dust mite allergens (DMA) can find a home along the vast majority of dust mites live, grow, reproduce and, in the micro-habitat of a mattress and pillow. It’s time to incorporate regular mattress and pillow cleaning routine practices.
In any average home, air quality is now the worst it has ever been and dust mites are the allergies 1 cause of poor indoor air quality. More Data on Air Pollution Asthma, hidden asthma, perennial rhinitis, bronchitis, sinusitis, eczema, and many other respiratory diseases and skin disorders have increased every year since 1980.
The ACAAI (American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology) has stated that 50 of all illnesses are either caused by, or aggravated by, poor indoor air quality.
The EE. UU. the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has confirmed that, on average, the quality of air in our homes, schools, workplaces is 2-5 times worse than the air quality outdoors and in many places, far much worse . . . like 100 to 500 times worse! For real!
The EPA has also stated that, since el’80 ‘s, children often spend 90-95 of their time indoors. This is a much higher percentage than when I was growing up in the 50’s and 60’s when our parents can not keep within us (despite the weather or time of day! ).
So how could this have happened all over the US. UU. ? Here are just 3 of the main plausible reasons . . .
1). Practice energy conservation since the late 1970s led to new methods of building construction, improved insulation and more airtight structures to keep indoor temperatures and indoor environments.
The negative impact that the child draftier structures presented are the increased accumulation of indoor pollutants, both organic (allergens from dust mites, molds, mildews, molds, bacteria, viruses, pet dander, and contaminant-free air (Pollen allergies 1) transported in and inorganic contaminants, such as synthetic chemicals and volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
VOC gases emit thousands of products found in a house, such as paints, lacquers, paint strippers, cleaning supplies, pesticides, carpet backing, building materials and furnishings, and also in schools and workplaces such as copiers and printers, correction fluids and carbonless copy paper, graphics and craft materials including glues and adhesives, permanent markers, and photographic solutions.
Toxic chemicals are widely used as ingredients in household products. Paints, varnishes, and wax all contain organic solvents, as do many cleaning, disinfecting, cosmetic, degreasing, and hobby products. All these products release chemicals while you are using, and, to some degree, when they are stored.
2). Technology has played a negative role. The negative impact that technology has produced is increased entertainment deck. Cable TV, computers, interactive games (Playstation, X-Box, etc. ) are often the show of choice among school children and young adults. This type of entertainment under roof mcontraene people instead of outdoor games such as whiffle ball, jacks, hop scotch, 2-square (or 4-square), tag, Red Rover, or even hide and seek . . .
3). Globalization (the latter phenomenon El allergies as an excuse). While G-ization is fine (the world leads to decreased exchange of new ideas, better access for travelers to places far away, and the promotion of cultural exchanges). G-ing is also responsible for some negative effects, some known as avian influenza or re-infestation in the US. UU. , Once almost extinct bedding errors and negative impacts, not yet completed.
Finally, (and I can not decide if these are the main reasons or less) I suspect practices and how family life has changed since los’70’s and 80’s. The divorce between law marriages became the norm (even become a status symbol) unlike the 60 ‘s, the family (or what was left of the family) became more mobile and thusly left behind assistance (and knowledge) of members of his extended family (grandmother and grandfather), divorced mother joined the workforce leave unattended house (cleaning became less of a priority), or home needs both parents become employees again cleaning allows suffering, even minimally.
Source Control, attack allergies 1 cause of indoor allergens
Grandmother and grandfather and generations before knew the importance of cleaning mattresses. This was a ritual of spring cleaning in the days when everyone hung their clothes to dry. Although dust mites were not discovered until 1694 (by the inventor of the microscope) that have lived on Earth about 300 million years. When man began sleeping on mattresses of dust mites you hear about the new food sources provided by humans. This happened about 10,000 years ago and it is no coincidence that the mattress became normal cleaning cleaning feature over 8000 years ago.
