Acne individuals

Over time I have noticed that there is a group of people who have little or no care of their skin and yet have never experienced acne or any other skin condition. Moreover, some people take care of their skin but religious still have an ongoing battle with acne. From the above observation it is clear that some people are prone to acne, while some others are not.


So what acne-prone person do? So the main factors contributing to the formation of acne acne.

It is a combination of these factors leads to the formation of acne. So lets take a closer look at these acne.

Activity of the sebaceous glands

Sebaceous glands secrete oil that lubricates the skin surface. Acne prone individuals are known to have more reactive sebaceous glands producing excess oil is required therefore blocking the pores of the skin. Excess oil remains in the pore blocking the sebaceous duct and the creation of an obstruction in the follicle.

Research has also shown that secreted by the glands of acne-prone individuals oil is different in chemical composition that no acne-prone individuals. Acne prone people in the composition of its oil supports the growth of bacteria that cause acne.

Bacteria

Certain types of bacteria resident on the skin. P. acnes is found in most skin acne, but people prone to P. acnes grows uncontrollably. The growth of the P. acnes is aided by the anaerobic conditions created by the plug of dead cells and oils within the pores of the skin. The bacteria digest the oil within the pores and produces a waste product. This waste product irritates the walls of the pores that cause inflammation.

Shedding of skin cells

Normally sheds dead skin cells from the skin, dead skin cells fall away and are replaced by new ones. Skin acne prone to this process is uneven in which five times more skin cells are produced in comparison to normal skin.

Acne prone skin produces more dead skin cells is unusual. These cells are still trapped inside the follicle resulting in the formation of acne.
