Basically, acne is a red irritating rash that primarily affects adolescents and young adults, but can occur at any age. The most common areas for the occurrence of acne are around oil producing areas of the skin. ie, face, chest and back areas of the body, can also occur outside these areas, but this is much less common.
Acne is not just a physical condition, may also provide an acne suffers from short term to long-term psychological effects. These effects include but are not limited to, low self esteem and decreasing confidence in turn can lead to depression. Back to physics now. If left untreated, acne can result in permanent scarring of the surrounding tissues.
There are several myths about acne. Most of them is debunked
Acne does not come from results or uncleanliness, or frequent washing. in other words, dirt spilled on your skin.
Eating chocolate or so-called bad foods is debunked when it comes to acne. Eating these foods called increases the likelihood of an acne outbreak or make the underlying issue any worse.
Many factors contribute to the development of acne. The main problem is when the cells within the hair follicle abnormally flak creating a plug. The supplement may grow bigger and rupture, spilling its contents of waste and oil on the skin and then cause more swelling and redness (inflammation).
Self-care at home.
Wash once or twice a day with soap and water to remove excess oil from the skin. A cleaner purchased the counter acne at any pharmacy can also be helpful. Avoid washing too hard because this can irritate the skin and cause acne to worsen.
It is sold over the counter acne medications can be used either at bedtime or during the day. Always follow the instructions of any acne product.
Many of cover up products are available without a prescription and can help cover acne spots, while they heal themselves.
Some cosmetics and other products for skin care, can make acne worse instead of better, look for products with noncomedogenic on the label. do not irritate or worsen acne
Although there are many different forms of treatment available to you today, I think the best way of treatment have come to know the root cause of acne problem.
