Anxiety psychologists and mental

I like to explore my understanding of how the Iranians against mental health problems as a multicultural group. I will not refer to multicultural groups as a group by itself, because it is not just the diversity of each group alone. In particular I like to consider it our Iranian culture as a group, while this group is divided into sub-groups and sub unknown.
To make the story short, it is important for each culture to examine its own estimates, to expand knowledge about people with mental health problems.

I think this is a long debate, why should I raise my voice in the ability of my experiences as a counselor, social worker, and mental health workers.

We must recognize that the mainstream of psychology that works best for society, why a multicultural country psychology help many aspects of mental health for people who for whatever reason fall outside the mainstream. In my profession I see men and women who are afflicted, show symptoms of anxiety and depression, however, have difficulty asking for help to correct or attend any psychotherapy at all.

It is beneficial for therapists, psychologists and mental health workers to be examined the ways in which each multicultural group relate to the physical anxiety mental integrity related issues. Ideally, it would be useful to understand the language of the customer, as the words reveal a lot about the life of each customer.

This paper is an attempt to assess the need for a cultural basis, psychological evaluations of our group of Iranian as we have different understanding of mental health problems compared to the Western population.

Again, the point is not to universalize our Iranian group like us (Iranian) come from one of several communities and cultural backgrounds. Neither point is for us the image of Iran as isolated groups of people hiding behind the dark.

The point is to open a discussion to see how we can help more families and individuals suffering from mental health problems.

The point is that Iran, in general, have difficulty recognizing mental health as an issue. We tend to somaticize, in the sense that it defines any disease linked to our physical body.

I wonder if a therapist of Western culture would be able to work with a diverse group of people is Iranian. We must remember that the counselor is not from a social vacuum and all that therapist and psychologist is culturally related. How can this issue be useful or harmful to our people?

In Adlerian terms, a mental health is everything related to one anxiety loss of hope and loss of breath in life (Adler, 1957). Our life on migration is hard enough, not add the reality of our families are spread over many countries and are anxious about the settings. We have time for true notion of family she once knew.

We will focus on a general issue to deal with all sometimes. Remember that when we say delam mizaneh shor!

It would be useful to dig into this concept and to extract the cultural meaning behind this word. We’ve all heard stories about how our Iranian men and women are going to complain about doctors chest pain or bad feeling in my stomach.

Sometimes it’s difficult for many of us to say exactly what we mean. with every belief and confidence that Iran has for the medical world, you are prompted to drugs and try to cure despite our problems they are related to mental health.

If our family physicians happen to see a psychologist to recommend that, go home and say that the doctor was not good.

Sometimes our younger generations seeking psychiatrists and psychologists because they have communication problems at home with their parents. Some suffer from their parents who will control your life forever. Some women suffer from abusive husband or other domestic issues, they will ask the doctors for drugs. Examples are numerous. The main point is that we know how to deal with mental health problems and we will not have any recognition of mental health problems. Any doubt, any hard thoughts, compulsive behavior or we could be related to mental health. Now let’s see how a little aspect of mental health is defined: anxiety.

Anxiety or Delshoreh

What is anxiety or delshoreh our Iranian culture?

The Farsi word meaning delshoreh has an attraction in itself, the word describes what happens when you have delshoreh.

Just the stomach or is excited or stimulated altered (the verb means Shoridan get too excited about something or in some situations). Therefore, taking into delshoreh means your stomach is being attacked by a feeling that his calmness almost washed away.

During those moments of feeling pain or anxiety delshoreh, the person has no sense of what is happening. In Persian it says: I have delshoreh, ie, I am suffering from something vague. This is the similar explanation in English, having anxiety due to a general feeling about something that is not right.

Delshoreh culturally it is known as a sign of something bad happens, a fuzzy idea of a threat to its integrity. This feeling could be confused with the burden of shame and guilt. As we are Iranians have never been encouraged to understand our own feelings, mixing and mixed feelings, because we are used to internalize the oppression forced us. In this personal level started to blame ourselves for having done something wrong, be wrong or sin, or not doing good works. The body’s response to this deep level of pain caused Delshoreh usually not explained in words. What I mean by this vague definition of a vague sense? It is our cultural understanding delshoreh is the same fear, while psychology says otherwise.

Anxiety and fear are two constant problems in many mental health problems worldwide and in our Iranian culture. There are, of course, support for research on the reasons for anxiety in diverse populations, however, have all experienced horrible situations are indeed cause anxiety itself.

For all level of insecurity faced by all Iranian days in our lives or delshoreh fear is an understandable response to our harsh reality. This is a normal response to what is not normal undeniable.

It is important to determine how to deal with our feelings because they are always with us. Anxiety is a warning sign that warns of imminent danger and allows a person to take action to deal with a threat.

However, the definition of anxiety to people who live in constant fear may or may not be a sign of abnormality. In the horrible living conditions that many people struggle with Iran and the Middle East, all the warning signs that something be confused with many physical conditions.

Sometimes these external circumstances create reason to have anxiety and fear. What are those circumstances?

Whenever we have suffered the pain of being forced to live a certain lifestyle and we know that anxiety has been there to tell us what we do not like.

All those years when the bombs fell on our village head, is the anxiety and fear of not knowing what would happen to us next time.

All those people whose children, whose relatives were killed, disappeared, tortured, went into exile, and suffer from one or another way, you know how painful and devastating is anxiety.

Many of our Iranian citizens have suffered one way or another, given the level of instability of the situation back home.

We have all experienced the pain of anxiety as a warning sign that something is going to happen or is happening now.

The anxiety of losing a loved one or to return to earth could be devastating and has been for many of our Iranian colleagues.

What is the definition of anxiety and fear?

Fear is a response to a known, exterior, defined and real threat, while anxiety is a response to an unknown, internal conflicts, vague, and the threat of conflict.

Therefore, we may have the anxiety of our son leave home to go out with their friends, however, may be afraid of thief or the snake.

The feeling of anxiety is anxiety when our son is leaving the door that gives other signals. We all have feelings, we feel, because we are human, and act on our feelings as we find directors.

We are afraid of the possible dangers out there, but we can never know for sure what may happen in our future.

If that is the case we can do some anxiety reducing response to help the situation. However, we must know how to cope and how to handle our life situations to deal with anxiety and fear. Undoubtedly emotion, thoughts and behaviors go hand in hand.

Now the question is how we deal with anxiety or delshoreh before? Remember that our mothers say, give the person a little salt, if he anxiety she was scared or shocked!
