Using shrubs to decorateIdeas for decorating with shrubs
The bushes are ideal species for places where there is not enough to grow trees, offering a wide range of colors ranging from green to purple, through yellow and gray space. They are species of great strength and in addition to their ornamental function, are very useful when it comes to design original green walls that separate spaces and even a house of another. In addition, we achieve a very fine touch if we use shrubs with fruits or flowers like pomegranate, raspberry or blackberry.
Shrubs, like any other plant, can be reproduced by cuttings or seed implants, although it is best to buy it directly from a nursery. So growth will be faster.
Some species are rather low, ideal for covering the ground, others to put in pots or planters.
All we have to do to plant a bush is making a pit about 40 cm deep by 40 cm wide, place the plant and take back the land that we took previously mixed with humus, surf and organic soil. Earth hug it well to keep out air and abundantly watered for 3 or 4 days.
From there we go by spacing the irrigation every three days, except in times of extreme heat.
Do not forget that each type or species of plant requires special care. In some cases it is convenient to choose different bushes, but by the same family, and simplify their care.
As you go imagining the garden, we tell you that the acacia trees, camellias and Mahonias are shrubs that bloom in winter.
Shrubs provide an excellent opportunity to enter their world and incorporate it into our garden for ornamental purposes.
