Making a fence with branchesFences and decorative panels made of branches are a great way to create functional and decorative focal points for the garden, and are really easy to make, and very economical.
Let’s make basic guidelines for making a panel of decorative, practical branches, and fully customized.
We define, as a first step, the overall design we want for our panel.
We need two staves of 2-3 meters long, depending on the desired height for the panel. The have parallel on a work surface, and proceed to set a dead branch or a straight rod, uniting about 15 centimeters from the base of each parallel rod, separating them by about 60 centimeters, approximately. Recall that in fixing the horizontal rod, determine the width of the panel. We hold this branch with nails, and if necessary also with wire.
We must take the precaution of making sure that the panel is straight and properly aligned, and place a second horizontal branch, at 1 meter on, from the first rod. Once again, we present and we ensure that the project is right. We nailed and we hold, and re-check the correct status of the lines, especially the side.
The next step in making our branches is bent near the upper ends of the side rods, Making a fence with branches if necessary. We create an arc shape at the upper end of the panel, and we hold the poles with wire and nails. Then we can go interlacing twigs and green branches or dead branches sticking and holding in the desired design. If you wanted to achieve curved shapes, you can go screwing in a circle green twigs or dry some branches in circular shapes (marking the way with nails and wood that emulate, and letting it dry a few days), to achieve designs in shapes fully customized.
Finally, we must place the metal poles into the back of the side rods, making them stand about 30-40 feet below, to nail them to the ground, and synthetic enamel paint with the appropriate color.
Once the branches near to be completed and well seasoned, varnished to protect and already we can wear it in the garden.
