Drinking Water Help Acne Or Kill The Top 3 Myths About Acne

Having acne is not fun. In reality that affects more than 70 of today’s teens. Many who have acne feel like social outcasts, are ashamed of their appearance and often go into a deep depression.
People affected by acne have the same thought in your mind every day:
How to Get Rid of Acne Forever?
Unfortunately there are still some myths associated with how to treat acne:

Myth Number 1:

Drinking lots of water will kill acne.

True, if the skin is dehydrated, dead skin cells are not effectively shed, which can lead to blocked pores and acne. But water alone can not help get rid of acne. The cause of acne is sebum overproduction leading to oily skin which in turn draws bacteria (Propionibacterium acne) responsible for causing to develop acne. If you drink about 1.5 – 2 liters of water every day, you’ll be fine, but will not start the acne disappear.

Myth Number 2:

Eating chocolate causes acne.
This belief is simply wrong. Again, acne is not caused by any specific foods like chocolate, potato chips, candy, soda or potato chips, but excess skin oil (sebum) and the acne-causing bacteria. And those are not caused by the foods you eat as scientific research has shown: fatty foods, such as chocolate does not cause the skin to produce more oil. Important factors that play a role here are: 1) Hormonal changes in the body and 2) The predisposition toward oily skin.

Myth number 3:

Acne is not curable. If you’re lucky, you can get rid of it.

That is definitely a myth. You do not have to live your whole life with acne, even their teens! The skin care and using the right products to help reduce or even totally get rid of acne.
